Francine Delgado-Lugo

Francine Delgado-Lugo is a Co-Founder of FORM Fitness Brooklyn, an inclusive strength training gym that specializes in 1-on-1 Training. Ms. Delgado-Lugo has been a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Council on Strength and Fitness for more than a decade, and holds specialty certificates with USA Weightlifting, Precision Nutrition, and CrossFit.

Prior to opening FORM Fitness Brooklyn in 2018, Francine worked with Equinox Fitness Clubs. During her 6-year tenure with the company Francine worked first as Personal Trainer, then managed teams of Personal Training staff at the club level. In her most senior role with Equinox, Francine had oversight of multiple clubs, driving performance management for large teams of trainers in NYC sub-regions.

Ms. Delgado-Lugo’s management and leadership experience in the fitness industry draws on her previous leadership in the public and non-profit sectors, where she oversaw large-scale economic and workforce development programs for community organizations and social service agencies, including NYC Human Resources Administration and NYC Department of Small Business Services.

Francine has a B.A. in Public Policy and Women’s Studies from Hamilton College and an M.S. in Urban Policy from Milano Graduate School at New School University. She is a member of SELF Magazine’s Future of Fitness Advisory Board, and a frequent contributor to the publication.
