Amelia Wagenknecht, MS, ACSM-CEP

Secretary

Amelia Wagenknecht brings a deep commitment to strength, resilience, and community empowerment. With an academic background in exercise science and kinesiology, she has spent the past eight years working in clinical research, where she has focused on improving health outcomes through lifestyle intervention.

As a survivor of domestic abuse, Amelia found that strength training was a critical part of her healing journey; providing an outlet to reconnect with her body, promote independence, and redefine strength on her own terms. She has spent the last two years leading M.I.N.E.’s Strength Embodied Social Support Group, where she supports survivors in cultivating community, resilience, and empowerment within and beyond the gym.

Amelia is deeply committed to evidence-based, trauma-informed, survivor-led approaches to health and movement, and is honored to support M.I.N.E.’s mission of empowering survivors through strength training and peer support."
